Katie Lockwood, MD is an attending physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, South Philadelphia (CHOP) and a clinical assistant professor of Pediatrics of Pediatrics at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. As a primary care pediatrician, she focuses on the overall health and wellness of children and adolescents in the Philadelphia community, with a special focus on adoption medicine, managing health of children in foster care, breastfeeding and medical education.

She completed her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College Philadelphia and completed her Pediatric Residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  In 2016, she launched a podcast called “Primary Care Perspectives” for Pediatricians.
