Erica Howe, M.D. is the founder and CEO of The Medical Educator, an online platform with the mission of providing online, on-demand courses for clinicians to improve their teaching skills and an annual professional development conference called the Women Physicians Wellness Conference.

Dr. Howe is a board-certified internist who received her Bachelor of Science degrees in English and Biology and her medical degree at the University of Utah.  She completed her residency and chief residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She began her practice at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.  While at Johns Hopkins, she was given the opportunity to develop curricula for the School of Medicine and the Division of Hospitalist Medicine and her passion for curriculum development and improving the teaching skills of clinicians was born.
